What happens when you believe in lies
Why am I the one left out?
Being forgotten.
Looked over.
Blown off.
Lied to.

Why am I the one always left in doubt.
Feeling uncertain.
All encompassing.
Waiting
Alone.

Your promises are never kept.
They mandate my future.
Never coming to pass.
Time slips by,
Again.

So cold and hollow I feel.
Like many times before.
Heartache and tears
In silence I suffer
Betrayed.

I pray for death to swiftly come.
Take the suffering away
My sentence unjust
The crime apparent
Love.
