A poem about a reverse hint from my girlfriend about marriage, or something like that...
In that couple’s horse-drawn carriage
Is a sewn-up thing called marriage,
But now they’re looking in the mirror,
And someone’s face is looking dour.

So they bet they’ll find relief
In that business called belief –
A simple logic, I suppose,
The joyous helper to the rose.

Staving off seems quite the cure,
However cautious and demure.
But surely horses leave the stable,
Returning freer, fit and able.
