About my mother who I cherish so much.
Mom

As I grew up, I looked up to you.

You sent your love down to me.

As I sent it up to you.

The hugs were shared

And the oh so many talks

Are memories that I’ll never forget.

The kisses and the times we sat being goofy

Are the times that a daughter will never forget.

You stuck by me through the roughest times

To celebrate with me through the best.

I’ve left the next

But I will never forget all of the things you’ve taught me.

Looking in the mirror, I see you

Looking at you, I see myself

A strong, independent, outstanding woman

And one day I will grow to be as

Successful, and flawless as you

Because you are the woman I cherish

The woman I love

The woman that I adore

The woman that I would not be able to live without

You are the heart and the beat of it.

The love that I have for you will always remain

Even though I have left,

I will always come back to my best.
