An uninvited visitor comes in the night, and he does not ask her to leave..
How Now Sister?

I never noticed her
laying here
between us.
I only began
to feel
her presence,
that night you
forgot to say,
"sleep well baby" and
turned your back
to me.
She lingered.
Teased and
taunted me with
her ghost.
Her disapproval,
frozen inside you
like a black spell
memory;
trapped below
the ice,
where my touch
cannot melt.
Even though so
many summers,
have passed between
us.
