I wrote this 2years ago to show my despair at both the world wars and war in general.

I weep for those that fell
I weep for those that cannot tell
For those that were sent to slay
And in turn themselves where slain
I weep for those whose mothers died
I weep for those whose brothers died
I weep for the widows made
I weep at the crosses raised
I weep even though we won the war
Because we have learnt nothing at all.
