Prompt 28: Guilty Pleasure.
A line of white, cardboard cartons,
emblazoned with a red dragon
and clichéd, brushstroke font:
"Imperial Palace"

An extra trip to the gym,
or so I tell myself
to assuage the guilt
as I inhale the scent:
tangy, spicy, rich.

Steamed, stir-fried, deep-fried.
I know, all too soon,
when my belly bloats:
I'll regret this.
But for now?
Mmm.
