Cheaters never prosper
Lost your Swan

I dropped to my knees as you left me in despair,
pain crushed my chest as I strained to breathe.
You broke my heart in two when you betrayed me,
left me sobbing on the floor as you turned to leave.

You said that you loved me and will always be here,
now you just look at me with such a blank stare.
How did I not see this drama happening to me,
tears on my cheeks as I look at you and glare.

Anger takes over me as I realise what's happened,
my best mate glances at me with guilt in her eyes.
He says they're together and in love to my face,
she can have him, keep him, he's such a prize.

Time is a great healer and I have a new life,
I heard they're still together but the trust is gone.
She cheated, he cheated but still they're together,
they are both ugly souls and I'm a beautiful swan.
