The quirks of working after sun down
Working late night wasn’t fun for Patrick. Having worked a month at Hotel Riviera as the clerk, the night shift had too little action and too many snores for his liking.

And it certainly didn't help that this was the only call he’d gotten.

“Hello. This is the Riviera. What can I do for -”

“Help me!” A frantic man yelled. “My wife wants to jump out the window.”

“I’m sorry,” Patrick felt sad for him. “But we don’t deal with personal problems. I can’t help you.”

“Yes, you can.“ Came the tense reply. “Call maintenance. The window's not opening.”
