A man falls into a deeper darkness and from his madness and pain comes sustained wisdom.

Darkness
In sight
Blackness
Not without
Fighting the rules
Standing up to
Those piqued fools
The ones calling
For allegiance
Amongst
The twisted kind
The ones wanting
A larger piece
Of his declining soul
Adherence is null
Reciprocation
Is further disappearing
Alone in an ocean
Abandoned in a forest
Nothing is abound
The God of his mind
The king of his shrine
Retreating deeper inside
He’ll never be with them
He’ll never be like them
He will always refuse
The right and the rules
The normalcy of set madness
Concerns him least of all
He will always be alone
Just as he prefers
Just as he adores
There once was another
Long before here and now
The opposition of his sex
The perilous intersection
Of his once trivial existence
But then
A lover’s tryst
Upon her heart and chest
Left him wanting less
Desiring nothing kept
Falling abyss
Rising up
His pseudo homage
To what’s next
And what’s spent
In between
Residence
Living opulence
Ignoring the populace
Doing for oneself
Disregard for all else
He will never go back
He will never again
Be part of the norm
He will only fall
As he rises higher above
He will only see as he does
As everyone else is blind
He will live
In the shallow holes
Of the darkest abodes
He will be the one
Who sees with clarity
Even in the deepest parts
Of what the darkness
Can offer up
He won’t ever be afraid
He won’t ever again feel
As most still do
Falling abyss
Downward
In his glorious direction
Are both his life and his end
Both his grievance and collection
He will rise up as he falls
He will be remembered
While all others won’t
The impact of it all
Will of course be great
Nothing of his plight
Will ever go to waste…
