If only he had listened to me to begin with. Then none of this would have happened.
I tried to warn you.
I'm messy.
I'm annoying and sarcastic.
I'm inappropriate and I laugh too loud.
I think way too much.
I say what's on my mind
without any regard for how the
rest of the world will take it.
I'm ridiculous.
I tried to warn you.
I'm moody and insensitive.
I change my mind and then
change it again.
I go from light to dark
in the blink of an eye,
and most days, I'm more rain than shine.
I tried to warn you.
I'm stubborn and opinionated.
I don't color inside the lines
and I refuse to stay within my boundaries.
I won't acknowledge limits.
I live my life in a constant state of flux,
a storm, a bomb, a firecracker,
just waiting to explode.
I'm not for everybody.
I tried to warn you.

And now, when it's finally too late,
you believe.
