A dark sad poem.
Invisible
Intangible
A man without face
His words, like his wounds
bound forever, debased

He imparts
unimportance
to all, and to self
like the book never read
lying lost on some shelf

How he grasps,
How he shoulders
no one offering notice
One heart among hearts
yet his— finds no purchase

The sad man is fading
Will soon pale away
To nothing at all
Save sorrow
Save pain
