As a writer there is nothing greater in life or death than what we leave behind.

-Building Castles-

Twelve Line Poem

Stone by stone
I don’t know
When it will be done
Maybe never under this sun
Building castles
Fortresses unable to be raised to ruin
Standing long after my ultimate death
Some will come and stand beyond the gates
What will they say presently drives me
I won’t be around to hear them
But I know that all that I’ve ever built
Will without question still be standing…
