Inspired by a dragonfly that was flying above me. I never did see him, only his shadow.
‘Neath the dragonfly’s shadow
I make through the pool
it follows me giddily
such an enchanting sight
I can’t find its caster
the sun is too bright
as I wade through the pool
‘neath the dragonfly’s shadow
