Ever wish the life of a smart phone?
Just a phone call away...
Yet, as soon as I punch in your number
The signal is weak

Your digits never change
Connection to your heart is disabled..
Direction I seek

Chorus:
Smart phone on display
More attachment to the universe
Than you could ever hope to attain

Shut out those around you
A device that's memorized your hands
By your side, forever stakes a claim

Empty embrace & lifeless eyes
Wishing I could infiltrate your life, like wi-fi

Have I ever seen your smile?
Searching through my gallery, it seems I've misplaced the file...

Chorus:

Smart phone on display
More attachment to the universe
Than you could ever hope to attain

Shut out those around you
A device that's memorized your hands
By your side, forever stakes a claim

Just a few questions I'd ask
The man with generations trapped
Inside a mind, with no network key

Just a phone call away...
Too many things I wish to say
I suppose we'll meet up in my dreams
