For all the Fathers with little Girls that have cancer
For all the Fathers with little Girls that have cancer.

By Merrie Ehrke

An Angel
White room,
White curtains,
White sheets and,
White gown.
In this place my baby girl lies down.
I thought little girls came with lots of little curls and,
I thought I would give her her wedding pearls.
But there she is, day in and day out,
She stays in this bed,
But my angle won't pout.
White room,
White curtains,
White sheets and,
White gown.
In this place my baby girl lays down.
Simple things that make her smile,
Are precious moments that last a while.
But then her little laugh only makes me cry,
And then I cry more when she asks me why.
White room,
White curtains,
White sheets and,
White gown.
In this place my baby girl lays down.
No this isn't heaven but then I ask why,
Why did God send an angle to earth.
