The flirting between day dreaming and reality.
Breath deep the sounds of the wind-
let the cool winter breeze coax you to joy my friend.
The warm sun upon your neck and the
taste of fresh air upon your tongue.
Rustling of the pine trees on the wind trickles down
the hill and finally across this sunny courtyard.

Wet snow seems an illusion
yet it overwhelms me on all sides.
I see those geese fly high, happily
heading towards warmer waters.
Motionless, the day seems like a lucid dream
only laughter and smiles free me from
its enthrallment. The leaves shimmer and
shiver from winters harsh bite,
Philosophy lights the way to a brighter morning
yet even solipsism still holds no delight on
a day as today. Experience is the anchor
unto which we find ourselves grasping at
in our moments of dread.

Finally the snow melts and the grinding
of gears can be heard in the streets,
whispers are replaced by cars and the
whole world chugs forward as I day dream
once more on this silent day.
