I am watching you.
Id love to take a moment,
To remind you who I am.
And that the fact of the matter is
Your life is in my hands.
I know you cannot see me,
If you could I would not care.
My appearance would only break you,
Fill your heart with fear.
See, I've been watching you for ages,
Hiding in the dark.
Behind the crippled buildings,
And lurking in the park.
I've memorized your patterns,
So predictable they are.
Every morning you buy a coffee,
Every night a lone cigar.
You board the train at 9 AM,
Read the paper while on route.
And once it stops, without delay,
I follow you in pursuit.
You think your safe inside your flat,
How wrong you really are.
I found the key under your mat,
same with the spare to the car.
You wouldn't understand
but I'm bored to tears.
The chase is not enough.
I need the kill,
Haven't had one in years,
And your a great place to start.
