Take me to a place

Take me to a place where the sun is gone forever
where emerald eyes gleam from shadows
Darkness, cats, wolves and bats
Deep forests where dead men follow

My hands are frost, my air is crisp
My horse blows steam within the mist
A great sword gleam beneath the moon
Cloak and hooded, torn and withered
Scars and pain, cold and rain
Feel my gloom, the closing doom

Take me to a place, where death is ripe
Gibbets and crows, fear is my halo
A crystal lake, floating corpses
Life has meaning, killing joy

Take me to a place, fresh with blood
Great oak trees, rustling leaves
Purity, disparity
My spirit leaves, my spirit haunts
The dead of night, my sanctuary
