My spin on Black Friday, and a quickie poem for The Writer´s Cramp.
Black Friday

Giant sales and a stampede,
shoving and pushing to get what you need.

Chaos in the parking lot, dropped us at the door.
Husband found an empty place three blocks from the store.

Too many cars and too many people,
makes the situation nearing lethal.

Preparation is key for Black Friday success,
A small car is vital for less mess and less stress.

Send the kids in pairs to sit in empty spots,
the more you have the better, to improve your shots.

Leave the vehicle running and someone inside,
and let this short poem help to be your guide.

On Black Friday there’s never need to park.
While you’re shopping leave your husband driving circles in the dark
.
