Puppets of Society
The heart can’t move on its own

It’s bound by strings of emotion

Cursed with society’s notion

Of beliefs that are set in stone

With a flick of the wrist

My heart dances and sways

Moving every which way

That your desires insist

Control, this word I do not know

For I am a soulless creature

Who lacks the human feature,

That God has given us long ago
