Balance

Balance is needed
for the world to exist.
In love there is hate,
in agony there is bliss.
In times of war,
we will find peace.
But violence will not end,
when the war does cease.
Without the coldness of night,
we could not appreciate the light.
For all the bad things in life,
I wouldn't change them if I could.
For without knowing what is bad,
how could we know what is good?
