I have never been good with relationships. They say I try too hard, but thats impossible.
A murky friendship transformed into raw passion.

Together, we were complete.

Separated, uncomforting despair grew.

I had an itch, but no idea where to scratch.

A hunger to satisfy, but no clue as to what to eat.

Perfect, you were not.

I think I loved that more.

Time and time again I would try to fill your voids,

With love, compassion, and every ounce of being I had

Back rubs, dinner, spending money I didn't have

You didn't want it,

You didn't want me,

Time wasted,

Love wasted.

Why wasn't I enough?
