A persons search for the perfect place.
I left because I had to go,
Not because of you,
Not because I know you left,
But because I would go too,
To this place you told me of,
A place to become new.

I'm sorry I may have found you,
Not because its wise to apologize,
Not because I care,
But because I should have known,
To get to this place you told me of,
There is too much to lose to be alone.

I never meant to lose myself,
Not because it was all I had,
Not because it was all I needed,
But because it was what I recognized,
To know of this place you told me of,
To find, one must have to choose.

I guess I choose to give up,
Not because I was giving in,
Not because I was gone,
But because I am too old and tired,
Too much so to care for this place you told me of,
Too hard to find anymore.
