Some ideas, concepts and methods of being go on and on forever.

That motion
An ocean
In a sea
Of dreams
Ones to be kept
Those to remember
Never can I forget
All that are mine
My mind
Both a prison
And an endless forest
Vast are the trees
Each one grows
Each one has meaning
Endless are the rows
I cannot see beyond
I can only see
Immediate proximity
To the heavens they reach
But not I
Grounded I’ve become
Under any God’s sun
I have no faith
Because I own no fear
At least not anymore
In such an endless forest
There are some creatures
Just a few
There
Stalking the shadows
Hiding from the light
Staying out of sight
I know they are nearby
I am well aware
I can feel their presence
Regardless of vision
They wish to hurt me
They wish to force me
They are the past
Always coming close
Whatever I once did
I did so
In order to survive
Now survival
Concerns me least of all
There is a point
A place in all time
A moment so defined
When a person like me
Reaches the end of the fight
When a person like me
Wants to continue as is
But fears nothing of death
Nothing of any form
Of the end
That’s where I’ve been
For the greater part
Of my life’s upswing
I have it all
As some would say
But not me
I would only say
That what I have
Is all that I presently need
All that I require
Perpetual
Are such feelings
And all of my reasons
Both present and past
Both future and beyond
In the darkness of my mind
In the forest of my ideas
Each step takes me closer
Each step leads me further
Where am I really going
Where have I ever been
Neither matters most
There is something else
Something in this present
That I am quite content with
Maybe it will never change
Then again
If it does I’ll act
I’ll do what is required
Just like I have in the past
And just like I do now…
