40 lines // A stranger calls me up and offers worldly advice...
Equinox
The day and night are equal,
And so are all of we,
As we look above at phenomena,
Of much is rare to see

A super moon and an eclipse at once,
A strange thing on its own,
But things got a tad stranger
The moment i picked up the phone.

I said 'hello, who is it?'
A gravely voice broke free
He said 'I'm a druid,
And your future I foresee'

'tis not looking good my friend,
The apocalypse is soon
Go spend time with your loved ones
In the dawn of the new moon

Make the most of your time here, lad
As this will all soon end,
There won't be too much longer so
Go out be with your friends!

Take in the sights of your motherland
Still so much to go explore
For once the horsemen, up their steeds
There won't be much, no more.

Go help out a man in need,
As charity's not yet dead
Be a good man now, do all you can
Until the skies turns red

I must go now laddie, farewell,
Although their may be life after
But don't sit around in sorrow
Be joyful, full of laughter

This warning came on deaf ears,
My mind full of blunder
More interested in how this old man
Obtained my telephone number!

Well the world may not be ending,
But life itself is short,
Observe the druids warning
Still practice what he has taught!
