I composed this poem years ago. Inspired while I was doing a breathing exercise. :)
Breath Away

Life isn't that hard
because God is on our side.

If failure comes our way,
it's time to take courage
to face failure and be successful!

If mistakes melt us down,
it's time to be humble
to lick dangerous pride and be wise!

If confusion mastered us,
it's time for silence
to know God and learn from Him.

If darkness blinded us,
it's time to stop
to heed God's call and be guided.

If you feel abandoned,
alone,
crushed,
distorted,
whatever...

Breathe in and breathe out
that's how near God is to us.
