Limerick for Panda's Poetry Contest
Caesar's Limerick

There once stood a fellow named Caesar,
Cleopatra thought he might please her
Brutus hid his long knife
March ended Caesar's life
Stab wounds are more deadly than seizures

"The Ides of March," soothsayer foretold,
Treachery hides, betrayals unfold
You think you have some friends,
Stabbed in the back again
Julius Caesar never grows old.

Could Shakespeare be altogether wrong?
History muddles the truth along
The story sounds half baked
Give facts a fine, hard shake
Transform the legend into a song!
