decide for yourself

Beneath
me there is a man,

Quivering
and slobbering uncontrollably.

Sobbing
at any incantation I dare propose.

There
is no hope for him.

He
is alone and alone he shall stay.

Chained
to his globular prison.

One
that will not break upon the altar.

Dare
I speak to him?

Or
shall I run away from certain conflict?

He
professes his love for me,

Begs
for forgiveness for all of his nasty sin.

Tears
streaming down the dried cracks on his face,

His empty sockets like dark,
ominous caves

As
if they were always meant to be there.

His
feet are battered and lashed from beatings of the past,

He
wails in agony when I ignore his plight,

Screams
and begs to be repented.

No
one comes.

No
one cares.

Because
all in all,

It
is I who lies there.
