on the sports field where we met.

but it was not meant to be

Its sad I suppose, to love someone

with your whole heart;

when you know they're not 'the one'.

Yes, our love still exists

Where it did before.

Our love still exists

Somewhere out there,

But not here.








Because "I love you" doesn't work

When you're a little to late,

And "I love you" doesn't work

After someone walked away.

"I love you" only works

When two hearts are meant to be.

"I love you"  wasn't meant for you and me.
