Poem about my step mother who has passed away.
Sitting in the kitchen playing
Games and throwing fairy dust.
Your love is more than
A need, It's a must.

You gave me advice when
My life was falling apart
And when you left, it
Tore a hole in my heart.

You were like a mother to me
When mine wasn't there.
I have so much more to say to you,
But now it's just words in the air.

You left us without
Saying goodbye.
I never thought the day would come
When you were gone from my life.

Why did you have to leave so soon?
I miss our late night talks and
I'll always remember you when
I look up at the moon
