A story of holding on too long and finally letting go
I wish it was me
Kissing your lips, touching your hair.
I wish it was me
Holding your hand, always be there

I wish it could be me,
Whispering something sweet
I wish it could be you,
Being the person I need

But I can't pretend
To be someone I'm not

Keep in mind
I thought about us a lot

But I guess
The time has come

To let go
And move on
