Invincible

Teach the young,
for they are supple of mind.
But do not underestimate
their strength of heart.
For the young know a world we have forgotten,
a world of love, a world of hate.
They understand where we have yet to go,
and of what we can be.
They lack the harshness.
They lack the fear.
Yet teach them,
for they shall know.
They shall face the cruelty.
They shall face the love.
And they shall embrace both.
For there,
they shall learn.
