what does it truly mean to be afraid?
living beings fear many things, none can deny this
be it animals, solitude, hurting and many other things
but can we call such fears true fear?
I cannot come up with an answer
for my fear is much complex
i fear many things such as dogs, heights, people
but i truly fear the most is myself
which to many is truly sad, since one should know oneself
but what if you don't feel like you?
you can ward off dogs, choose not to go to high places
and many times people shut themselves to get away from others
there are solutions to such fears, but then how do you stop?
How does one stop being afraid of oneself?
and what if by the time one figures it out its too late?
change happens not fast but slowly
one can self- destruct by the fear they instilled in themselves
destroying what little joy and hope they have
wouldn't one call this fear as well?
