A poem of sorts.
Or is it nau'ght?
Can a lesson be learnt
From such simple, small words
About the importance of speech?

Say your emotions run num'b
But your face stills beni'gn:
You've w'rapped up your feelings
Because you k'now w'hat mi'ght
Happen should you speak.

It's time to suck it up:
You cannot forfeit your gu'ise
For your w'rath may run rampant.
You are condem'ned to solitude
Else c'haos may ensue.

Words teach us the beauty
Of holding in our ugly:
If everything can always be heard
Then what's the point in lis'tening?
