| Mets come alive in 9th to win 3-0 Written by AJ Murphy The Mets' Jonathan Niese finally got his first win in nearly 2 months. Niese kept the Giants scoreless, and the offense woke up in the top of the 9th inning. Kirk Niewenhuis, Michael Cuddyer and Johnny Monell got the job done in yesterday's 3-0 Victory over the San Fransisco Giants on the road. Both Cuddyer and Niewenhuis were on base, and the former Giant doubled two runs home to save the day.
