A Rubaiyat.
Forest Dance

As the wind shivers through the trees
A message carries on the breeze
Secrets shared from seasons past
Scatter sparsely at my feet

The rustling whispers start to cast
A spell throughout the forest vast
Nymphs and pixies hear the song
And call all fairies to the dance

The symphony is hushed but strong,
All forest creatures join the throng
Of dancing, singing, joyous games,
With friends to whom they do belong
