I write too many poems based off dreams but here's another
We danced
In the little white room
Off the side of the house

I never danced
But we were alone
And I was content just to be with you
So I let you show me

My hand on your shoulder
Your hand on my waist

My heart felt like a drum
And my face was so red
But you never stopped smiling
When the song changed you pulled me in
My head next to your chest
I could hear your heart beating as fast as mine

The snow came down softly then
And I marveled at it through the window
In the same way I marveled
At how you guided me so gracefully
And how nice it felt
To be close to you
