A poem about how even loners in our society derive benefits from others (prose).
The obscure loner-types of this society
Tend to live their lives
In happy, but separate ways –
But they often employ the services
Of the more prodigious half of the universe;
In other words,
They won't fail to let folks assist them
In their curiously lonesome ventures;
For those pre-arranged services and planning
Are ever available and acknowledged
To be of much use
When these idealistic customers
Seek their individual rewards.
