A free thought poem about the sins I witness throughout my days.
I guess...
This writer has been on enough food for thought,
For the Reader's Digest,
Before the reader's digest and embrace
Fruits from the Garden of Eden,
I pray we have the notion to be bulimic...
And regurgitate what's already eaten,
It's already treason...
But instead,
We binge eat it...
While all of our sins are eating us,
A Gluttonous season,
Cups full of our spirits,
We are on the cusp
Of binge drinking our lives away,
We've been thinking our nights are days,
Fucking the nights away
in all of our Lustful ways,
Counting sheep...
We sleeping throughout the days,
I'm counting sheep...
May I shepherd and show you the way?
I find..
Most in a daze,
Utterly confused and lost...
Unaware of self worth,
Selling themselves at a cost,
Succumbing to Sloth...
No exaggeration of this procrastination
And an over indulgence in relaxation.
The doctor did all that he could
And still lost his patient.
We are reminiscent of him
With a mass loss of patience.
Except our goal wasn't to save a life,
More like saving time,
Because time has always been money for us.
As Greed stands before us,
It's nice to meet you...
Greeted by Greed everyday...
It's nice to see you
Pay attention...
Because attention hasn't been paid sense
We aided sins...
Just a little food for thought,
I guess...
