Writer's Cramp entry~

Looking outside and to my shock I see
The color of the leaves, it just can't be
No browns, no yellows, no bright red
Everything's blue, it's BLUE I said
I turn on the tv looking for clues
What I hear is amazing news
They said the leaves have all turned blue
They're sad summers over, it can't be true
Blue leaves everywhere, all refusing to fall
Not ready for it to be over, no, not at all
They want to play, and frolick around
They are not ready to tumble down
Mother Nature comes, and talks to them all
Says this is the way that it is, it's time for fall
She says not to be sad, to have no fright
Jump she says, leap into the light
Turn into your yellows, reds and browns
Happily topple down to the ground
All the blue leaves shouted with cheer
We all will be back and see you next year
