When I found out id become a big brother
I breath in,
As if unsure how,
Words forming,
Racing around my mouth
,
Yet silence,
Tired eyes barely open,
Yet forced to stay awake,
Feelings of anger,
I didn't ask for this,
Making every muscle shake,
Star's looking down,
From a navy windswept sky,
Like sparks of blue fire
Calming me down,
A silence grace,
I breath a sigh of relief,
As I reflect on memories past,
I close my window,
The room awakens with shadows i cast,
New light, new direction,
Renewed hope,
A gentle warmth like static on my skin,
Anger turns to forgiveness,
As my eyes start to close,
Lying still my heart beat slows,
Tomorrow ill learn,
To be a big brother,
My mother I'll try to forgive,
My new sister,
I'll learn to love her,
