When you stop and stare and think, what do you see?
Pose
In front
Glaring at what it holds
At the monster
On the other side.

Grin
And show teeth
Making sure
To terrify the onlookers.

Stare
At the image warped
Beyond reason
By the most
Terrifying
Beast
Of
All.

The human mind,
Looking in the mirror.
