A poem about my grandfather
The pain still hurts so fresh and deep
Sometimes I can't help but to weep

Gone from here forever away
Never a chance for one more day

How can I live with you not here
Even though I know that you're near

You've been by my side as I've grown
Everything I've done you have known

I know that you are proud of me
Pure and true, your soul is so free

Stay with me till we meet again
Our second chance will then begin

I'm going to make my dreams come true
I will never stop loving you
