I'am trying to break that stereotype about Arabs, that they are bad, women are oppressed
Who am I ?

I'm the voice of all in one
The hidden truth behind media and newspapers
An Arab they say
I put my veil on
I choose the color each day
Should I wear pink or red?
Should it always be black?
I sit on my couch
With a cup of cappuccino in my hand
I open my t.v
A woman wearing black covering her face
She is so pure here
But why is she so devilish there ?
She is Islam they say
But who am I then ?
A representative of my religion
I refuse to be
It is pure,
and that doesn't always applies to me
I have my own flaws
oh can't you see?
But darkness doesn't reflect me
Thrown to a world full of borders
Being one, was always my dream
I run towards that border
, to meet someone dear
But suddenly
he vanishes and disappears
Blood on the floor,
a smell of sadness and fear
And some big lies
in the atmosphere
Is there an explanation
to make things clear?
Is it a dream
that I should decipher?
Or you're killing each other
and that is real?
No don't cry ,
and save your tear.
A new dress, the world is going to wear .
A child in the grave,
but I saw him last year
Playing in that same mud
that covers him here
