In the masquerade of life, I still know you.
The Masquerade in the Beginning
People laughing,
People swaying,
Faces without facades.
This is the promenade of life.

Times come.
Times go.
People step with the flow.

The Masquerade is Going Faster
Now they seem so focused,
So full of passion,
So unafraid.

Some of them tumble,
Some of them are pushed,
Two of them are alike and unique.

The Masquerade is Unrelenting
The sea of faces knows their place,
The waters part around the stone,
A heart left open will not go unturned.

The forces of faces yet unseen
Swirls together two lonely beings,
These souls intertwine.

The Masquerade is Now Past its Peak
The worst has come and gone,
The two stones as they met before,
Exit the dance as One.
