A poem about greed and its price.
Let him have his money.
Yea, let his have his money,
and his foul legacy—
avarice-earned.

Let him be forever remembered,
forever as the overpaid lout
that never knew what a fool he was.

Greed.
This is his keystone.
But do not begrudge.
Pity him.
For he will lie upon his deathbed,
not as we will
with dear ones to comfort us,
surrounded by love.

No.
The last sound he shall hear
will be his heirs
taught to embrace greed
his greed.
Divvying their shares.

He will die with nothing.
He will die alone.
