Partly inspired by Nietzsche, a look into the Abyss.
Into the Abyss
I gaze so deep
The dark stares back
My mind's asleep

The nothingness
The lack of light
I stand transfixed
I cannot fight

I sense movement
That isn't there
Bumps on my flesh
And risen hair

The Darkness comes
To encompass me
Surrounds my soul
I cannot see

A whispered voice
An icy breath
Deceit and lies
Of a simple death

Frozen with terror
Paralyzed by dread
Chill hands upon me
Inside my head

Completely numb
From the frozen Hate
My eyes fall shut
I accept my fate
