Poem for Whispers of the Soul contest
PROMPT 2

JUST A PHONE

"It's just a phone"

It seemed the phone
Was my best friend
My loved ones cast away

Then at last
It came to me
Once I saw the light

It had taken
All of me
That techno-parasite
