Space is comprised of spacicules. Invisible and undectable by matter (save for their compression effect BY matter), they are regulated by zero gravity charge which both allows them to be pushed asunder by matter, which cannot occupy the same space, and compress inverse-squarely away from the encroachment, and then to return to their former rest states at velocity c. They may also be drawn apart, but will always return to their rest state in the absence of pertubations.
