Head of a religious political party of the country Jamaat-e-Islami Bangladesh Moulana Motiur Rahman Nizami is now imprisoned in the central jail after being convicted as war criminal by the supreme court of Bangladesh.
After the verdict of his death of the supreme court being published his gallows was almost ready but allowed to submit review petition the verdict was suspended till it gets resolved.
After hearing the review petition the supreme court has set 05 May 2016 as the date of giving verdict on his review petition.
